Bivariate analysis an introduction

In the following videos, we introduce the notion of bivariate analysis and the types of tests one can use, depending on the type of variables that are involved in the analysis.

The first video gives an overview of bivariate analysis and ends with an introduction of Chi-square tests.

The second video, below, shows what type of tests you should use depending on the type of variable involved in the bivariate analysis. In general, variables can be classified as continuous or categorical. And the type of variables involved in the bivariate analysis, determine the type of test.

The final part of the video below, shows how to perform a Chi-square test from this lab exercise.
